Extending a long tradition from the Bauhaus, the E.A.T., to contemporaries DS+R, Zaha Hadid and Frank Gehry, the allied traditions of architecture, art, design, and engineering are entwined in theatrical performance. Much of the human-machine-interfacing and autononous agency that is examined in Immersive Kinematics is in pursuit of human and nonhuman expression at its highest form. From testing at this most stringent level of performances can the prototypes be applied to buildings and cities.
